I had a controversial opinion and I edited it. Deal with it.

When I was 19, I drove my bright red '92 Integra GSR through a sobriety checkpoint near the University of Maryland.
At the time I had a giant frizzy jewfro, and the fog lights on the Integra were in a spot where typically high beams would be. I had consumed several herbal remedies that evening, and had a couple friends in the car with me. The cop who talked to me asked me if I knew my brights were on, and I very coherently explained "no sir, those aren't the brights, just the fog lights, but if you'd like me to turn them off officer I'd be happy to do that."
Passed through with flying colors. Didn't even have to turn off the fog lights.

Being French, when I read it, I immediately think of typical "alcoholic face" in comics. So it's a good name indeed.

Canada is pretty tough when it comes to drunk driving. It's nearly impossible for an American to enter the country if you have a conviction - they'll turn you away at the border. (Fortunately, NOT speaking from experience here.)

that's right, If this clean run is proof residents are also taking it seriously, then it's good news, that people won't get behind the wheel after a couple beverages.
